Great giveaway, Kylie! My favorite vegan organization is Peaceful Prairie Sanctaury, www.peacefulprairie.org because they promote veganism and do so much for animals.

I follow you on twitter, tweeted about this and follow your blog. :)

Hi! I would have to say Earthlings.

www.earthlings.com

Working to educate people to make the connection between Nature, Animals & Humankind.

Having been a vegetarian for 18 years, watching Earthlings helped make me become a vegan 18 months ago. One of my favourite actors Joaquin Phoenix narrates the whole film too.

Off to add you on Twitter!

Fabulous giveaway and discussion here! I'm now following your blog and twitter - glad I found you!

http://www.farmsanctuary.org

Their mission is to provide rescue and care for abused and neglected farm animals; Provide adoption service and information on farm animal care; Educate and disseminate information on farm animal issues; Conduct cruelty investigations and assist authorities in Farm animal cruelty cases; Monitor legislative action.

They have been waging groundbreaking campaigns and cruelty investigations which have resulted in the nations first cruelty convictions of stockyards, factory farms and slaughterhouses.

Passing the first ever laws banning cruel factory farming practices and the abuse of downed animals (animals too sick or weak to even stand).

Great giveaway idea! My favourite website is http://www.jewishveg.com/ You can sign up for their newsletter, too. Reading their materials really gave me the push I needed. They work hard to advocate for animals and care for our earth all in the context of Judaism.

I have posted your blog link on my FB page, tweeted about you, become a fan of your FB page and am now following you on Twitter! :)

Great idea! Love your blog and your art!

My favorite vegan organization is Vegan Outreach: http://www.veganoutreach.org/

They work tirelessly and creatively to end cruelty to animals, without sounding patronizing or judgmental, both of which are important, I believe, when you are trying to convince people who haven't yet come around to it by themselves for your cause. Plus, their website provides incredibly helpful resources, from powerful pamphlets in different languages and addressing different topics, to tips for a healthy vegan diet. In sum, I love them, and they deserve every support they can get!

Another organization I admire (and actually volunteer for) is the Borneo Organutan Survival (BOS)Foundation: http://www.savetheorangutan.com/

They operate the largest primate rescue center in the world and engange very actively in reforestation, protection, and creating sources of alternative income for the local population. Although this is not a vegan organization, I think the protection of animals and the conservation of nature are areas inherently closely related to veganism.

Hi,

I love animals, especially the ones most people consider pests. I guess because I am always rooting for the underdog, LOL. One of my favorites is a place that rescues rats.

Am I too late???

My favorites are Operation Kindness, www.operationkindness.org, and ASPCA, www.aspca.org. Operation Kindness is a north Texas no-kill shelter. I took an abandoned kitten there a couple of years ago, they were wonderful and even called me when he was adopted!

I already follow your blog and the EtsyVeg blog, and EtsyVeg on Twitter, and I think I already follow you too. :)
